Why “Conscious Tutoring”? What does that mean?

Conscious is a Latin word whose original meaning was “knowing" or "aware.” Conscious learning means recognizing that personal meaning is the core of how we become inspired and connected to new ideas. Conscious teaching involves an educator having the skills and awareness to personalize the work to each student. Our core values of fun, community, awareness and challenge help us to stay Conscious and connected to each other and to everything we teach and learn. Our lessons are diverse, reflective and fun. Students connect outside of our programs in maker markets, live stream storytelling and in book clubs! Our pricing is transparent, our groups are small and we really care. We know families are busy and that’s why we try to stay flexible. Text or email to set up a zoom call. Let’s meet and see if this is a good fit!
